SCALE 6.2 with GCC
Installation Tips
• Install the following packages in your Linux distribution:
/> sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev
/> sudo apt-get install sphinxsearch
/> sudo apt-get install liblapack
/> sudo apt-get install libopenmpi-dev
/> yum install qt-devel
/> yum install lapack-devel
/> yum --installroot=/cm/images/default-image install qt-devel
/> yum --installroot=/cm/images/default-image install lapack-devel
• Uncompress the SCALE source file:
/> sudo unzip SCALE-6.2-serial-6.2-Source.zip
• Edit the CMakelists.txt file in /Trilinos/packages/anasazi/src/ so as to comment out the following line:
/> ASSERT_DEFINED(Anasazi_ENABLE_Tpetra)
• Make the following folders and copy the configure script in it:
/> sudo mkdir /usr/local/src/scale_build
/> sudo mkdir /usr/local/src/scale_build/intel
/> cd scale_build/intel
/> sudo cp SCALE-6.2-serial-6.2-Source/script/configure_scale_mpi.sh .
/> sudo chmod 755 configure_scale_mpi.sh
• Edit configure_scale_mpi.sh under “scripts” folder as follows:
/> export CC=${CC:-gcc}
/> export CXX=${CXX:-g++}
/> export F90=${F90:-gfortran}
/> DATA=/usr/local/scaledata
/> export INSTALL_PATH=/usr/local/scale/gcc
/> MPI=MPI=/cm/shared/apps/openmpi/gcc/64/1.10.3
/> LAPACK=/usr/lib64
• Configure, build and install as follows:
/> sudo ./configure_scale_mpi.sh SCALE-6.2-serial-6.2-Source/
/> sudo make
/> sudo make install
Edit the Machinefile as follows (each node has 24 cores):
/> xe
/> xe1
/> xe2
/> xe3
/> xe4
/> xe5
/> xe6
• To run:
/> scalerte -m -M machinefile -N 144 deneme1vsopPOWER_aveTemp_1-3-3-3-4-5.inp
